I'm so chuffed to now have Printing Sessions For Quilting available!
These ten, hourly sessions are ideal for those wanting more studio time to develop their techniques so they have enough fabric for a quilt top.
The basic introduction workshops are just that; three hours to explore, learn something new and have a bit of fun. For some that's enough and the fabric they go home with is ample for that ipad cover, tote bag or pair of cushion faces for that special sofa.
The next step for others though, are the printing sessions where you may already have an idea for a quilt after the workshop and the two fat quarters are just not enough!

So that's how these sessions have come about! Whilst I've been happy to share the process and techniques I've used to create a unique quilt from scratch, I'm over the moon that others want to do something similar. On offer is one-on-one guidance for more complex techniques with me and the studio is at your disposal for that time.
I've come up with a few guidelines how those sessions are spent. Of course they're tailored to each person and the hours can be flexible too. It just means that rather than coming in for an hour (when you are just getting in the 'zone') two or three hourly blocks are much more constructive and it may mean the Gelliprinting is all done or you have your lino block/s finished ready for the next stage of the process.
I am pretty excited! It will be awesome seeing the fabric printed in these sessions!
